What’s an Ecosystem?

An ecosystem is like a big outdoor house where plants, animals, and tiny bugs live together. It has living things like plants and animals, and non-living things like the sun, air, and water. All these things are needed to help everything in the ecosystem stay alive.

You can find different kinds of ecosystems, like forests, deserts, oceans, and even your local park. We need to keep ecosystems healthy so that every living thing has a home and enough food.

Plants and Bees: The Team Players

In ecosystems, plants and bees have important jobs. Plants grab sunlight and turn it into their food through a process called photosynthesis. Bees and other pollinators are like helpers; they visit flowers, helping plants to make seeds by moving pollen from one flower to another.
